Who is Sophisticated Systems?
A software practice based in Kyiv. We design and build digital products end-to-end — strategy, engineering, and the conversations in between. We work in small, deliberate engagements and bring in trusted collaborators when the work calls for it.
Do you work with early-stage companies?
Yes — much of the work is with founders and small teams. We're comfortable being the first technical voice in the room, or a careful pair of hands on something that already exists.
What does an engagement cost?
Every engagement is priced to its scope, so concrete numbers come after a first conversation. We work with budgets ranging from a single advisory session to long-running collaborations.
Will you take over an existing codebase?
Often. We start with a written look at what's there before committing to changes, so everyone knows what's being inherited.
Where are you based, and how do we work together?
Kyiv, Ukraine. We work fully remotely — mostly in writing, asynchronously, with regular calls in your timezone.
